The Band
The Exchange Band is a high-energy Vancouver-area pop and rock cover band bringing a wide-ranging mix of familiar hits, crowd favourites, and danceable classics to stages throughout the Lower Mainland.
Based in the Surrey–Delta area, the band features experienced musicians with a passion for live performance and entertaining audiences. Their repertoire spans multiple decades and genres, making them a great fit for festivals, pubs, community events, private parties, and larger concert stages.
With guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals, The Exchange Band delivers the energy of a full live band while putting its own spin on songs audiences know and love.
In 2026, the band opened the main stage at the inaugural Barns to Beaches Festival, sharing the event with artists including Honeybear The Band, Spendo, Emmett Jerome, and 54-40.
Whether performing at a festival, community event, corporate function, pub, or private celebration, The Exchange Band delivers a professional, energetic live show designed to keep audiences entertained and on the dance floor.
Payton Rector
Vocals
Payton is a 25 year old musician who has been performing on stage for over 17 years. She loves all styles of music, from classic rock, to r&b, to modern pop. She spent a year in Boston studying vocals and songwriting at Berklee College of Music. Payton feels truly blessed to be a part of such a fun and talented band!
Ernie Daniels
Guitar
Band has been a constant in Ernie’s life since the age of 14. Ernie's influences include Tom Scholz, Phil Collen, Eric Clapton and Bill Roberts. He strives for continuous improvement and loves hanging out with his bandmates on a weekly basis. Ernie also enjoys curling, golf and spending time with his family.
Frank Deluca
Drums
Business owner for the last 40 years and married to a wonderful women for the past 34. We have a beautiful daughter and two crazy dogs. My influences growing up were David Garibaldi from Tower of Power and Neil Peart from Rush. The drum kit I use nowadays is a Roland TD-50.
Brian Sanheim
Bass
Brian has been performing and writing music for many years. He has toured with several recording artists, recorded many albums and performed with several cover bands. He played with recording artist Brandon Paris Band. During his time with Brandon Paris he toured across Canada, performed at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, made appearances on TV/radio and had videos on Much Music. Brian also played with a recording artist called The Crawl. The Crawl has performed around Vancouver including at BC Place for CFL’s BC Lions. The Crawl’s music can be heard at NHL/CFL games, TV, film and video games. He continues to write music with several recording artists. Brian is very excited to be selected to play bass with The Exchange!
